How do you use Chaos Stock? However it best suits your time, budget, and project needs. Use the royalty-free background as is. Make minor changes to the original footage. Add your own design elements for a greater change. Use the After Effects project as your starting point for a completely original image. Here are some examples of Chaos in action.

Tim Johnson used Project #11, Volume.02 for a segment at TV station KUTV (CBS). Tim said, "...At the station we needed to create a quick promo on a new crime-solving technique. We needed a subtle background that worked well with the subject matter. Volume 2 had a nice piece that worked out great. Load up the AE project, render out the loop, and export--all within a couple minutes."

Eugene Pak of Motion Monk Studios used five Chaos Stock Volume.01 projects in interview segments. Eugene said, "I was asked to develop animated backgrounds for use in the movie "What the Bleep?: Down the Rabbit Hole" by Lord of the Wind Productions LLC.

"Various interview segments were previously shot on greenscreen, and I was in charge of creating various motion graphic backgrounds that fit the personality of the speaker, and the segment topic material. I decided to use Chaos Stock as a starting point, giving the short turnaround time, and the ability it gave me to put a concept in front of the Producer and then make tweaks and changes based on comments.

"I was able to modify five separate HD-resolution segment animations and deliver final versions within a two week window-- something that I would have found impossible if I had to develop and complete these from scratch." Questions about this project? Email Eugene at motionmonk(a)mac(dot)com.
