specs : technical

The technical specs for Chaos Stock are pretty simple. You can use the pre-rendered footage in any host application that supports QuickTime. You can open the After Effects projects in, well, After Effects.

Chaos Stock Volume.01 will open in After Effects 5.5 and higher. If you have 5.0 or earlier, the Volume.01 projects will NOT open. more

Chaos Stock Volume.02 will open in After Effects 6.5 and higher. If you have 6.0 or earlier, the Volume.02 projects will NOT open. more

For both Volume.01 and .02, you will need the Production version of After Effects. The Standard version is missing filters that we make use of extensively, like CC Cylinder and Caustic Waves.

As a reminder, SF Timelapse does not have project files.

Chaos Stock footage and projects are not platform specific. They work with Mac OS X, all variants, and Windows 98ME +higher. We do not provide support for OS 9.

 

The pre-rendered footage on Chaos Stock DVD's are compatible with any application that supports/imports QuickTime.

Use your royalty-free footage in any compositing or editing program, as you would with any stock footage. These applications include After Effects, Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro, Apple's Motion, and AutoDesk's Combustion.

For Volume.01: Text, you will need to specify NTSC or PAL format for the pre-rendered movies. The After Effects project files come in NTSC and PAL. more

For Volume.02: Light, the DVD's ship with both NTSC and PAL pre-rendred movies. The After Effects project files come in NTSC and PAL. more

SF Timelapse footage is saved at High Definition NTSC, Standard Definition NTSC, and Standard PAL. more
